Im trying to buy the motor that put my 87 bronco 11 in and out of four wheel drive. I went to the local ford garage they told me they had one for a 90 but the wire harness was different. Can a person rebuild the old one?
Thanks docman

How many pins in it and what color are the wires, I have a couple of them.
You can also get them from LMC JC Whitney and I know Bronco Graveyard
has them but I don't know if they are the same.
As to rebuilding, you can rebuild any motor if you can find the parts.
Thanks for reply I will look at JC Whitney for one. My son has cleaned mine and it is working now. This is the second time in a year it stopped working.
It's not unusual for these to act up but a little die electric grease will handle that
I blew the trans in my full size and am in the process of replacing it. I am just praying that it all goes back together and all the elctrical stuff works.
If you are not familiar here is the link for LMC... www.LMCtruck.com
