Keypad Issue
Trying to reset the keypad code....
I have read my manual and most threads and topics I can find on this. I just bought a 2003 F150 Lariat FX4 and have located the 5 digit code under the drivers side. It is a 5 digit number, all odd, and appears to be exactly what everyone describes.
I tried to use this code and it did not work. I tried to activate/deactivate it and that also did not work (no horn beeping, etc.). Pressing the 7/8 & 9/0 buttons at the same time does not lock the doors and the 3/4 button does not unlock them. The interior lights do not come on until the 1/2 key is depressed.
My remote keyless, anti-theft, and power buttons inside appear to work fine. I am guesing there is a problem with the keypad itself. Any suggestions on other things to try? Thanks for any help.

Check your owners manual fuse chart to see if there is one that powers the keypad. Otherwise, if part of the pad works and other parts don't, then I would think that the keypad is defective. Good luck!
