2 mufflers at different intervals? (after y-pipe)
I just bought a Y-pipe and the outlets are too close together to install two mufflers side by side. Is there any downfall to installing one muffler then the other muffler about 18" farther down? Will it sound like crap, poor performance? Or should I just take it to a shop to have a couple pipes bent in order to have them sit side by side? Thanks!

If both pipes are run on one side of the truck you will have one pipe that is longer anyways, so if you match the pipe length to which muffler goes in front and which in back, it would even out i would think.
Say that the drivers side exhaust pipe curves down and towards the passenger side. Well thats extra pipe that the passenger side doesnt have, so put the muffler for the driver side on first then the passenger side lower down the pipe.
Hope that makes since!
