99 7.3 trans question
hey guy's i need some advice, I have a 99 F250 7.3 with a auto trans, when it's cold out the trans works perfect, but when it's warm it seems like it skip shifts , everytime it shirts it starts to lug like maybe the converter is locking up for some reason, but I swear it shifts all 4 times ! It happens at all speeds and it doesn't matter how much gas your giving it, sometimes after doing this for awhile it will start to shift great again for abit, whats the deal? anyone have any ideas ? the trans doesn't slip, I just hauled a expedition from michigan to the washington D.C area with out a problem and the trans shifts funny even when your towing something.. I need some ideas guy's, any imput would be greatly appreciated.. thanks!!!!

no the trans fluid and everything look great, doesn't smell burn't and is clean , now I do have 33 inch tires on it, I don't really think i'd make that big of a difference just driving around, but even if it did when I'm towing something with some good weight behind that I would think it would shift right... but I have no idea and thats why I'm here... I have no idea whats going on.. thanks again!
