Whats with it?

I can understand drilling holes in a frame for a hitch or airbags. But I can't see drilling holes in the cab sheet metal anyplace. It can end up being a new place for a leak, or for rust and corrosion to take hold. If its wires you need to run, there are lots of existing holes put there by the factory.

Haha, yhea it's pretty random of you...

but I agree. If you do need to drill, make sure you use a good quality grommet and a non-corrosive sealant.
