BTM installation $$
I just called a local shop to get an estimate on installing a Walker BTM. He said it would be $120-$150 for installation with me supplying the muffler. I almost choked when he said that. I know from this site what a simple process it is to install one, I just don't weld. Anyone know a location in Northern NJ that does that kind of work?

Do you have the means to cut out the old muffler? I thought I read somewhere about cutting out the old muffler, turn the s-pipe portion of the exhaust to align the front and rear. You will need to cut part of the s-pipe to allow enough room for the walker, measure twice cut once rule. Then use muffler clamps to attach it all together. It was on one of the sponsor pages. Maybe someone has the link saved. If I find it I'll post the link.

There is a link on here for install. I'm in Oklahoma and just called one of the local shops. He said he has a muffler like the Walker, or it might be a Walker, couldn't remember. Wanted 200 to put it on. Hope this helps.
