Steering column outside diameter
Hello all I am out of town right now on buisness but I need to order a shifter cable setup for my engine conversion.
Can someone please give me the outside diameter measurements for the lower part of the tilt steering column (78-79), the part that is just below the firewall.
I plan on using a lokar shifter cable setup for the 700R4 trans I am installing. I will have to use this or a similar cable setup due to the exhaust coming off of the turbo and right down directly where a shifting rod would normally go. I only need the measurements because the bracket that goes on the column comes in 2 sizes 2" and 2 1/4".
