wiring

Hi, I am want to wire a box light for my 08 F150. I would like to wire the light to have power all the time (switch is on the light), Does anybody have any advice for an easy way to do this, I really didnt want to run a wire all the way back to the fuse panel plus its really tight in there. Thanks

If your talking about the bed of your truck, you could tap into you trailer connectors 12 volt supply, if you have a tow package.

The factory trailer tow supply goes on and off with the keyswitch. Running a wire from the light directly to the battery will probably be the easiest way, with a inline fuse close to the battery.
