is it poss. for eec iv to cause rich cond. due to low comp. in only 1 cyl. (by over compensating)

A cylinder that doesn't have enough compression to ignite the fuel will result in very rich exhaust..

by the looks of the plug it has enough (80lbs) to light the mixture, it's just the only thing (other than the injectors or ecm) that would make sense, everything else has been checked and double-checked

If there's a misfire, the additional oxygen from the uncombusted mixture signals a lean mixture as it passes by the O2 sensor, leading the computer to richen the mixture.

compression came up when cylinders weren't being washed by gas that wouldn't burn
