From what I've deduced, I'm supposed to have 4 VCV's on my truck, but there are only 3. Does anyone know where the fourth on is supposed to go? I have two on the t-stat housing, and one on the water pump. Its a 400m motor(not original) in a 79 f250, supposedly federal and manual trans. I have a diagram out of a Mitchell's for a light duty, which mine is also, and I can't figure it out? Thanks
On my 79 F100 351M 2WD, on the thermostat housing I have two TVS's, one has one switch, and the other branch has two switches in one. This means that there are three switches on the thermostat housing.
Does your's have three also? If not, maybe someone removed/replaced the dual TVS with a single?
Also, I have no VCV on my waterpump, my truck only has the three TVS's in total, not four.
