So, it appears that I need to replace my headlight switch again. At least, I'm assuming this is the issue, as I lost my tailights and dash lights last night. This happened before about 1 1/2 years ago.
I'm assuming there is an underlying reason why this is failing. Anybody have any ideas? Is there a voltage regulator I should be looking at as well?
It's the wire harness; the same thing happened to my truck - same thing on most 94/95 mustangs too. most of the mustang guys on The Corral - Home changed the harness and fixed the problem. There's one small wire that gets hot and melts everything else.
The pigtail runs like $40 from FORD
after fixing the problem look in articles and specs at the top of the page
go to electrical
look for headlight relay mod.
this will remove the heavy load the switch has on it
it also will give better light out of the head lites
