99 overhead console
I have a 1999 ford f150 Lariat, with a good amount of upgrades. I'm about to install the ford overhead console and a gentex electrochromic rear view mirror with compass and temps. I pulled down the first have of the headliner by removing sun visors visor clip and side trim. I couldn't feel the harnesses up there. Can you tell me if there is harnesses up there. i'm going to the dealer to get the wiring diagram for it. Also can I use the temp sensor on the mirror to also feed the console or do I have to buy a sensor. Just by chance, would you guys know which company that makes the console.

Yeah, see what you mean. I checked the dealership and they said to bring it in. Since they came out in 2000, i'll try and get info for the 2000 and maybe use that. do you think I'd be able to use the one temp sensor on the rear view and tie it also to the console. Maybe I'll just take it to the dealer and see how it works out. Thanks anyway, at least you pointed me in the right direction. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hey Franklin2, I picked up some schematics for the 2000 f150. Shows the harness and pin locations. Does anyone know where i should connect the wire for the speed signal?
