connector problem

connector problem

my friend cut one of my connecters from the stock cd player and now im at a loss any one have any ideas greatly appreciate them

if you have a little more info it would help us out a lot! why did they get cut? are you putting in a aftermarket deck? what are you at a loss for? what do you need to know? what connecters did he cut? help us help you! and by the way welcome to FTE.

If its on the vehicle listed in your profile - '94 F-250-

Go up and find a reputable audio shop (preferably that carries Metra products) and ask for a wiring harness p/n: 71-1770

You may be able to find it online too- maybe googling.

NOTE: Make sure its 71 not 70. The 70 is connection from OE harness to aftermarket radio. The 71 is the OE Radio connector to factory "cut" wires.

thanks i figured it out by hard wiring everything i do need to know how to tighten my belt on my alternator if you have any answers its a 94 f-250 got the new alt. in but belt unusually loose

Isnt that belt a serpentine system, and isnt there an automatic tensioner? If so i would think the tensior would be suspect, as the alt bolt directly to a brackey with little movement. Tensionr could be the culprit here, check to see if its working properly.
