Truck suspension is stock. The 'jumping' seems to be coming from the rear when I hit bumps.
Load C's @ 55psi are no good for towing with an Excursion! You better dump those tires before your trip!!!!

Quick update on parts:

I just called JC Whitney and they have the Hellwig Rear sway for 179.99 and the RAS Active Suspension for 279.99. THEN, since I own a small business, they knocked 15% off of these prices (all businesses are getting 15% off right now), PLUS they eliminated the shipping charges. Sooooooo, my rear Hellwig and RAS kit will be delivered here Monday by FedEx for a total bill of 394.00!

Me thinks I gotsa me a good deal!!!!!!!

Now for the tires

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$CHA CHING$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Hey you are getting there, you ought te be set up with those parts! Yes the tires will hurt! I'd go with BFG A/T or Rugged Trail or Toyo Open Country M/t's if it were me. Both those tires are known to do great on the Excursions!! I prefer the Toyo M/T, it's actually a very quiet M/T!! Keep us updated!! I am curious to see the improvement all your upgrades make! If the rear sags too much or seems soft and bouncy going over bumps you may have to get the air bags!

I had to call and talk to the salesman. They have the right part for the RAS (have them look for the factory MKII XXF), but it isn't linked with the Excursion in their book. The Hellwig came right up when I searched.

I don't have the part numbers handy (threw away my notes), but I'll have them for you Monday

You can get 20% off at JCWhitney if you use code AEBBCX8 at checkout BEFORE 3/20...for orders OVER $200.

That code will get you 15% for orders between $125-$199

I just got that in my email this morning...

Good luck,
joe.
