need a trans

i know this is about trucks but my girlfriends car broke an now i need a trans 4 it for a 95 probe auto 4cyc

Yeah and the problem with a wrecking yard one, is it may not be any better than the one you have. You end up doing alot of work for nothing. You could try taking yours to a community college they would do it pretty cheap, but they have to be doing transmissions at the time you take it.

i live n a small town wit 104 ppl the big town close to me is 1200 pll the closes college to me is 2 hours an they dont have any kind of shop stuff

if you just need new clutches and steels and bands.I would get a very good service manual and do it yourself if you have some ablity.also throw a new pump in it while youve got it out.
i know your thinking WHAT?do it my self.
when i was a kid i couldnt afford to have someone else do this for me so i did it myself.i knew guys that could do it and they werent to bright so i figured if they can do it so could i.

parts for this car are not cheap i could do it bye myself if i can get them cheap
