400 performance rod's
Are there any performance rods available for this engine? Or, can anybody think of anything close enough to where I could make it work with some machining? I found some that might work, but at $100 a rod I don't want to risk it. Also, I'm looking for a good but not too expensive 351c forged flat-top w/floating pins. Can anybody recommend a set? Basically I'm building a mud truck and the engine must be strong enough to survive high rpm use with small shots of NOS. And if anybody knows of any oiling system modifications please let me know. Thanks!!!!

I don't know of any special rods you can use but for mine I polished them with a die grinder and had them balanced and resized. They are pretty tuff stock. I trust mine to 6,000rpm just not every day.
