Steering gears!!!!
I have two steering gears that I was hoping to trade if anyone was interested. The first is an integrated power steering gear off a '78 F-250 that is the four bolt style. This is the box that is referenced in the integrated power steering conversion for F250 highboys on this site. From what the article stated this boxs is more or less a bolt on application and aas far as it states is rarer and more expensive than the three bolt style. The second gear box is a manual box off of a '72 F100 4x4. Both boxes are in good shape. I would like to see about locating a power steering setup for my '72 F100 4x and do away with the manual,this is how I know the manual gear is in good shape cause I drive the truck daily. The power gear box came off a '76 F250 4x that I scraped which was converted to the integrated system. So I would be willing to trade both for power steering for my '72. I hope this doesn't sound too ridiculous.
