96 EB 5.0 AWD explorer help
Hello new to all of this and need info. I have a 96 explorer with the bullet proof 5.0 which i shipped to an island in Greece in 98. My question is can i do anything with the AWD, it has gotten me stuck in many spots including sand and trials where suzukis,toyotas and jeeps ran circles around me. And what is the best lift without really compromising its current road manners but enough clearance to least compare with other suv.My trany oil pan is dented because of this. Before shipping i installed a KC light rack front bush guards with HELLA fog lamps and rear tail light guards,so it looks tough but cant really use it tough. And does anybody know where in Greece i could get this work done and parts. Mine is the only explorer on the island and even though the mechanics are good they are a little scared of it because i havent been able to find parts for it, when i go there i bring the basics in my luggage oil,fuel, transmission filters brakes and even spark plugs. That is all i changed on it with 88,000 miles,everything else is original. Thank you to all.
