The injector on the drivers side, closest to the firewall is leaking fuel at the top of the injector in the area where the rubber hoses connect to it. Do you have to replace the injector to repair this problem?
Sounds like leaking fuel return lines/caps/o-rings. The good news is that a return line kit is only about $35. This is a very common problem, and most likely it isn't an injector problem. Look back a couple of days under "hard to start" or "starts then dies" or "air intrusion" for other threads on this subject.
I don't what year you have but if you go to IH you probably won't get the stuff that you have on your motor. Both of mine have IH hoses and caps on them. For some reason Ford felt like that needed to change that stuff.
I have a 94 7.3 turbo and it has a 3 way tee as one of the caps, most of the kits dont have this cap unless you pay $45 to $60 for them. I think that the three way cap is to keep the return line away from the turbo. Does th IH kit have a three way tee?
