I never liked those little cars much myself. Even though our focus is a smallish car it's not as small as the aspire and festiva were. I have to say I'm quite impressed with our focus so far. 42,000km and hasn't given us one bit of trouble yet!
I pulled a turbo off of a chevy sprint and modified it to work on my Festiva. It worked pretty good. I had a 5spd Festiva, I paid $50 for it, and sold it 2 years later for $1500 (with the turbo)
edit: She went like a scalded cat, and sipped the fuel... I might get another one this summer.
Like they say those hondas go forever hah serious Marlon a guy i know has a 07 silverado work truck 4.8l he got it and a little while after the tranny went caput not sure how many kms but hell not many at all and it was like brand new
The one '07 Chevy truck at work that one of the salesman drives has 45000km and the tranny's toast!!
we should do some lurking in the chebby forums... my wifes cousin ranches south a bit with his FIL, they're chebby people and are totally disgusted. their '05 3500/Dmax...rear end @2300kms, transfer case @14000kms, transmission @ 41000kms, and the front end was needing a pile of work when they traded it in. what do they do?? buy a '07 dmax... ok, its got 28000kms on it now, all the brakes have been done once, u-joints, rear-end has been replaced... sounds like some things haven't changed. the couusin is pretty sick of it, he says it rides "cheap" and feels plasticey
