Diamond-plate care
I recently purchased an aluminum tool box for my F150, and would like to keep it spiffy as long as possible. The shiny finish on my last box turned cloudy from water spots within a few weeks, and the new one seems to be headed that way also. The manufacturer recommends an occasional application of automotive wax but it becomes an exercise in futility trying to apply/remove wax from around the "diamonds". Any better ideas out there?

yes i have had the same problem with my tool box what I have done is there is some stuff you can buy called casao or something like that it comes in a little white bottle and someone and a truck show told me about it and i started to use it. you have to make sure your dont get it on your paint when you use it but it keeps your tool box shining.
