Engine swap question
I will be swapping a 300 out of a 79 van into my 78 which also has a 300. I noticed that the oil pans are different on the two engines ( the sump is at the back of the engine on the van) and I was wondering if I will have to switch them. I don't see any clearence issue's but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

There's a difference in the Cross Member because of the type of vehicle that is was installed in.
I'm unable to locate my books @ present, we moved into a 1st home & I'm still unable to find most of my research material or I'd have a more definitive answer for you.
