No brakes
I don't work on brakes so I squeezed the leaking spot a little with pliers and cleaned it off and wrapped duct tape around it, that actually seemed to stop the leaking temporarily. It was interesting driving the truck to the garage, the pedal goes to the floor before you get any braking, plus I was worried I was spraying brake fluid all over the place, so I mostly used the parking brake to slow down, worked pretty well except it was awkward. Even stopped to run an errand on the way.
I'm having them replace all the front lines while they're at it, and replacing the rubber hoses with braided if they can get them. Wish I had more time to order parts, but I need the truck tomorrow.
Glad to hear you got it to the shop ok. Your brakes did what they were designed to do when you loose fluid. The master has two sections so if you loose pressure in the front, the rear still holds enough to get you stopped.
Make sure they check the rear lines for any signs of rust through or you may be back quicker then you wanted.
