Noob

Hello to all. My name is Garry, i am from Medford, Oregon

I have a '08 F150 STX 4x4 extended cab 4.6L. I've had it for about 3 weeks or so, and its seen more mud than street.

I want a 3" lift, nothing to big. I seen an ad on here, from FatBobsGarage... 3" for 200.00 .....

http://www.fatbobsgarage.com/cart/pr...8-794-284.html

It says front and rear? I can get 3" from just FBG Front Aluminum Spacers & Pro Comp Rear Add-a-Leaf?

Thats seems really cheap..

Any advice or info. Thanks in advanced to all the fellow F150ers!

The shipping is $900.00

lol, just kidding. I actually don't know how much the shipping is at all to be honest.
But I have been looking at that same deal myself.

I have heard from a couple of guys on here that its not hard to install yourself.
I know someone has the add a leaf so they might be by shortly to give you their experience.

Welcome to the site! These are a bunch of great guys!

There is an amazing amount of knowledge on the whole site!

Don't be afraid to ask questions and remember, the search button is your friend.

See ya around.

just for the sake of clarity . . . I meant absolutely nothing by telling you about the search button. I know some people use that "remember the search button . . . " line as an insult or to show they are frustrated with "noobs" as it were but that was not the case here.

just makin sure that was clear. . .

have a good one

don't you still have to be a supporter to use the search button? used to be that way

another option you may want to try is the Autosprings kit. it's a 2.5" STEEL level for the front, and a 3" block for the rear. the rear block replaces the 1-5/8" factory block (so you don't double stack 2 blocks)

basically, this lifts the front 2.5" and rear 1.5"...this will allow you to easily clear 35" tires, and it will keep your stock ride quality

Autosprings 2.5" Leveling Kit

Autosprings Rear 3" Block

$125 for rear block
$80 for front kit
_____
$205 for a great kit...from a very good company. I've had mine for over a year now with 0 issues

That is a good way also. I only want 33's, but i dont have 1 grand so just throw down for tires and a small lift.

Got credit cards to pay off.. But, ive been mudding and got close to getting stuck, so tires would help alot
