58 chassis part 2
Gday every one,
The story first starts when i found a 58 cab f100 on a cut down 6 tonne truck chassis
it seems now the guy who is selling this 58 now has it a 58 chassis,but from what i have seen of the rear spring mounts and shocky set is different to the diagram posted by bobj49f2.
so i have few questions
1 is the standard 58 chassis boxed or a c channel style
2 it is standard for the spring set up to be on the out side of the chassis,
(as the one on the 58 is located on the inside of the chassis, i.e the spring mounts are on the inside of the c channel chassis)
3 how far back does the chassis extend after the spring mounts , this chassis stops just after the mounts
These could be just strange things for f100's in Australia does any one know?
i will try to get some photos by the comming week end for you all to see

Hi Walston; That chassis is ALSOME, it made me cry, then I got on your gallery, I just about had a heart attack. that is a gorgeous truck. I have a 60 one ton dulley.
this spring I hope to start on it. I hope it turns out even remotly as nice as yours. If you ever need a place to park it you can put it in my garage, just leave the keys to it.HAHAHAHA.
