this may be a cheaper route than bellowed up pipes, anyone ever hear of these this or know of someone that has tried them. if they work seems cheaper than $300 pipes
it has been talked about..i think the end was it didnt seal as good as a fiber donut...
hmm that kinda sucks, i was hoping they would work good so it cuts the cost a little, thanks for the reply, i guess i will get some bellowed pipes in seattle when i go there next month
I would spend $500 on up pipes before I ever spent $80 on two exhaust donuts. They better do alot more than just seal any leaks for that much money. Just .02.
The material looks to be a brass or bronze material. The material would not "crush" like the OEM donut and if your up pipes have any type of defect or flaw in the mating surfaces you will eventually have a leak. My 20 plus years in the Air force working with aircraft metals and design have shown that the surfaces have to be exact for a match like that to be fool proof. Aircraft hold those tolerances but I dont think our PSD have that. Best bet would be the bellowed up pipes or the OEM donut. just my 2cents.
