My dad has a 2006 F-150 FX4 with the 5.4L engine. I'm not sure what option package it is (unless the FX4 is the package, I'm only familiar with 73-79 f series & Rangers)
Anyways, I do know it's got a lot of extras, 20" scorpion pirelli rims & tires, leather interior, heated seats, etc...
Anyways, it's got the 6cd changer stock cd player in it. I'm not sure if it's standard for this truck or if it's an upgrade. But he's wanting to hook a small amp up to it to power some better speakers in the back doors. And we're not sure if it's got RCA outputs in the back of the radio to hook up to an external amp.
So that's our question, does his cd player have RCA outputs on the back?
Or you could get the Metra inline "T-harness" that takes care of splicing off for the LOC.
The harness gives you the RCAs and the Remote wire as well as about 17' of cable to let you run it back to an amp. I think its either p/n: 74-1771 or 74-5520.. (I don't recall at this time)
