My kid took a bad tumble and I went to help. Came back 3 hours later (don't ask) and finished the cap/rotor...and discovered I'd left the ignition on.
Will this likely hurt anything? I started the truck and now it won't idle at all. Don't know if I did anything or if the computer is just needing to learn a new setting.
The "old " plugs are only about a year old, but so slimed from running rich that I figured I'd just put new one's in. Motorcraft copper, I've been down the dead-end platinum highway before. And yeah, I learned about anti-seize years ago with my VW '71 Westfalia :-).
Thanks though, those are always good tips in case some uninformed person is reading...
Edit: And don't forget the silicon stuff so that your spiffy Motorcraft plug wires don't tear up trying to come off the next time...
