Frost Plug Blowout?????
Hi guys just had a question to see if anyone else out there might have a clue??? I let my friend drive last nite cause i had a couple too many... so we were just about back home and my other friend with his duramaxx decided to punch it and my buddy who was driving my truck thought it would be a good idea to give the old 7.3 six speed the beans (stock) so he did and he really wound second out like more than i think it should have been,but nothing shes never seen before im thinking.so we pull in the driveway and smoke pours out along with about 2 gallons of coolant,rough estimate. I looked at her this morn and the passenger side frost plug sure enough was hanging out of the block. so we put her on the trailer and dropped it off at the dealer but they cant look at it till tuesday and im just fearing that there going to tell me i have a blown head gasket cause thats the only thing i can come up with for why that plug would come out.i dont have a bra and it was cold last nite but nothing more or less than zero and the truck was plenty warm guaranteed. any info on this would surely help.
