turbo color?

My 2000 has the same kind of thing going on, they must put some kind of clearcoat in the turbo at the factory or something they used at the dealership to clean under the hood, it's just discoloring. It'll scratch right off if you try, and is nothing to worry about.

yeh im new to thepsd this will be my first and i hadnever seen that before. ive looked at over 20 of them looking for the 1. i really like thisone was just worried about that coloring. the turbo didnt sound any diff than the others. if i was to call and talk to ford tech would they know if a coating was put on back in 01
