diffrence between ladder and traction bars
What is the diffrence between ladder and traction bars. i am confused about the diffrence. i have a 77 highboy and have axel wrap. not sure which is the right one to use?

Keep in mind that ladder bars will not let your axles articulate much at all. There are a few companies out there that make a special traction device for trucks. It is like a traction bar but mounts on top of the leaf spring pack. It is specifically designed to reduce/eliminate axle wrap on off-road vehicles. Ladder bars will work fine as long as both rear wheels stay on the same plain (level) but that usually doesn't happen off-road.
