Shift kit on high millage trnas
What are your guys thoughts of putting a miled shift kit with 217,000 miles on it?
I'm not the original owner so do not know it the trans has ever been rebuilt. I shifts great and the fluid looks and smells good no hint of clutch matirial. The kit I'm useing wont up line presure just quicken clutch aply.

If it has the OEM date plate on the left side just behind the MLP then read the date.
You should have something like BD 4B10
The 4 is the year 94, the B is the month (Feb) and the 10 is the day of manufacture..... If there is no date plate, trans may/may not be repainted it would be a rebuilt possibly..
