Transmission crossmember question

Transmission crossmember question
Hey guys, I'm looking for a transmission crossmember that bols along side of the outside of the frame and then goes under to connect to the other side. I have a 1982 f100 2wd that I need to change the crossmember type. Just wondering what year did Ford go with that style crossmember on the f series 2wd trucks? Oh yeah, I need the extra space to get the dual 3 1/2" exhaust squeezed thru there.

Sound the normal set up on the 87-97 trucks (I know these years ) You will may need to find same tranny combo but you can make about any work . I know they switched mounts in some year so the Bolt patterns for mount may be if. No biggie redrill or get another mount
As for space these have a brace on drivers isde u may have to laeve off to clean the pipes ormay not ?

Thanks for the info. I have a 1991 F150 2wd parts truck but its buried in snow right now so I wasn't able to check the cross member. Its good to know that the truck has the correct one. Thanks for your help.
