is the bolt pattern the same on a 97 expedition as a 92 150? need help want to buy a set of rims

The Expy is 5x5.5/135 and so are most of the F150s for the years you gave. Different rim sizes may make a difference.

No, plus the offset is incorrect. Older trucks 5 on 5.5, newer 5 on 135 or other combinations of metric bolt circles.
