6.9 compared to PSD

6.9 compared to PSD

Two things I wish Ford had done to the PSD. A canister type fuel filter in the same location as the 6.9 was better imop and the lift pump locaction on the 6.9 was also better imop. Reason is easy access and better to find leaks and r&r on the 6.9 ,these PSD's are too tight........ Anyone agree?

and the 7.3's are easier to work on than the 6.0. The 6.0's are easier to work on than the 6.4's

Yea I hear ya , it get worse all the time ,,,,,,,, actually I am a techo fool longing for the old days and my 300 6 cylinder

I agree 100%. I had a 91 300-6 and i kick myself every day for getting rid of it.

Yep back in the day I had a 79 F-150 4x4 ,4 speed that truck was sweet and I was the master it never once let me down and all work was a piece a cake compared to my psd, sold it with 287,000 miles and was still going strong,,,,,,,,ahh it was a simpler time
