Where is the computer.

So I decided on getting 2 new poweradders for my truck. a chip and underdrive pullys so when I went to look for my engine code on my computer I was a little upset when it was not pasted on the door. probably fell off it is a 16 year old truck after all any way decided to remove the drivers side kick panel as that is where it is apparently I removed the plastic kick panel only to discover that there is no computer there at all.

So as the title says where is the bloddy computer. I also removed the panel under the steering column still no luck at locating a computer does anyone have pictures at what I am looking for?

Assuming its a '92 or '93 (16 years old), it is located Under hood, driver side, rear engine area, driver side of master cylinder, mounted on firewall/inner fenderwell

But the generic over-the-counter chips won't get you anything you can't do yourself for free.

Advance timing. Most chips require use of high octane gas after use. Now if its a piggy back unit . (plugs into ecu and harness plugs into it . ) They r different.

I have ecu in garage and it is a sealed unit.

that what i always thought, the sealed units are not as easy to modify as the computers that actually have a removable "chip" on them.
