compression test results

So I ran a half a$$ compression test today. I got readings from roughly 110lbs up to 135 or so.

how fed up do you think this engine is. Im not sure what the compression should be to begine with.

I dont know the year of the engine or what heads I have so I dont know the compression ratio. This engine was put in the truck prior to me owning it. I know its not an ho engine. The carb is off of a 68 mustang.

That should be okay and you should redo the test with a half teaspoon of oil
in the low cylinders and see how much they rise. If you have a vac gauge a
test of your motors vac and noting how the needle moves will tell you far more
about your engines condition and should be doen at the same time as the comp
test.http://www.mityvac.com/pages/products_hvpk.asp#07000
Go to model 07000 and then go to the instruction manual and read page 8 you
can test the vac to diagnose if youo have weak valve springs, head gasket problem
stuck valve, burnt rings, bad air fuel ratio etc. etc. ETC. You don't have to have
the mity vac but I just knew the info was there a regular vac/fuel pressure gauge
can do the same thing, But that pump is nice and is great for bleeding brakes since
I use it to clear out the master cylinder and refill it with fresh fluid then bleed them
so I have fresh fluid through out and I use it to pull a half quart of tranny fluid every
oil change out of the dip stick tube so I have fresh fluid in there.
