Ranger 2.9 Timing "shunt"?

The book calls to remove the "shunt and set timing at I believe 10 then reinstall "shunt" and timing should be 12. Where the @#$$ is the "shunt"?

I personally don't have a pic of where it is on your ranger. But find that under the hood. Last Bronco I timed it was on wiring harness on driver side fender.

Thanks shortbed. I did forget to mention it is an 89 Ranger, but if it is anything like that pic I will find it.

On my 87 2.9 it's laying on top of the passenger side valve cover.
