My annual cruise this year will take me to Bermuda, St Thomas, St Maarten, and San Juan PR . I will probably dive in Bermuda. Something else on my list is diving at the National Aquarium in Baltimore MD. It will be relatively inexpensive and the water will be warm. Keep diving.

What - no one's gone for the cheap humor? Favorite place to dive - muff?
Apparently the dive urge skipped a generation. My Dad dives all the time, and can be found every Thursday in the shark tank at the NC aquarium @ Ft. Fisher. He's 78, and has dived all over the world. My youngest son just got his certification, and can't wait to get out into open water, as he qualified in a hole in the ground near Park City, Utah (Homestead). I spent 6 years underwater in a nuc sub - that's enough for me.
I've just started reading Clive Cussler novels, and it's pretty interesting how he weaves dive info into the story. Another good story teller who started out as a commercial diver is John Mannock ("Iron Coffin" is a fine WWII sub yarn).

Subs dive. Those in the subs dive with the subs.
Just look at a sub as very high tech SCUBA gear.
