Unbelievable

After a nice trip to North Carolina and visiting the Biltmore, I'm an hour and a half from my house and one of the attendants at a gas station comes up and tells me I've got a puddle the length of my entire truck underneath, sure enough there it is, but I didn't think it was what it turned out to be(I know it was stupid of me, but no lectures please). Well, bout 2 hrs later(hit going home traffic) we get back to the barn(had to feed and bring the babies in) and I get out and head to the tailgate to get the some of the stuff that goes out at the barn and lo and behold diesel fuel all over the tailgate, the bumper hitch, all four rear tires and to top it off I think I got a buzz off the fumes. I think I need another vacation from this one.

I honestly don't know and it's kinda getting me a little depressed. Had a new toy and now this happens. I think I'm just curl up and cry now.

Talking Fuel Leak

On the bright side, at least it's not gasoline. Good luck with the repair. Mike

Its likely a fuel line that a couple wrenches will fix in a hurry. You just finished working in there so it could be that a copper washer wants to be a pain in your az.

That's what we are figuring. Matt thought it was the FASS since that was really the only thing that I had done back there recently. But we shall see here in a little bit now that it is pouring done freezing rain after a sunny day of 63 yesterday.

Well it's not a a fuel leak, it is a very bad bad oil leak and I have a sinking suspicion where, but don't know for sure yet.

Yes I did get it figured out, it was where I had though it was coming from, it just had reached a point where it got progressively worse sooner then the part I had coming was able to get here. So now my baby is on standby til the part gets here and I'm stuck using my girlfriend's cavalier(boy does this suck) and hopefully I'll have the part early this week and I'll have it fixed wednesday or thursday depending on free time. I still need another vacation.
