Water Seperator
How do you hook up the water seperator. I suspect mine to not be hooked up. only one hose does up to it in the back. The two front outlets dont hook to anything, can anyone tell me how it works. Also when I pull the ring at the top it wont come up.

The reason it was unhooked was probably air intrusion.
The stock early model water seperators are famous for that.
Directly below the seperator inside the frame you will probably see a short piece of fuel line splicing the two metal lines together where someone cut them to bypass it.
You can run new lines to the OEM seperator, and stick a bolt in the drain line, or you can get a new seperator and plumb it in at the same location.
Skip the first fix thing, the plunger must be rusted to the canister.
