front cab corner inspection hole?



Do you guys leave this open? Weld shut, screw on a cover?


dont know what to do with mine. Thanks RT

The "inspection hole" is actually an access hole for the installation of the bottom-most bolt between cowl and fender. There is a triangular-shaped cover that goes over them and attaches with 4 screws. The covers are available from Mid Fifty for $16.50/pair. They are flat, so you could also make some out of 16 gage (.062) thick sheet metal.

If you don't cover the area, it will just collect a lot of mud and rust out again.

i bought the plates when i got the panels but did not know how to atach them on. Thanks RT
