up and down pipe v-clamps

up and down pipe v-clamps
alrite ive pulled the turbo off of my truck a few times and now having a brain fart which bolt goes to the down pipe the longer or shorter bolt to hold on the v-clamp?? thanks for the help

You took the "T-bolt" out of the v-band clamp?
The smaller v-band goes to the collector at the back. Guessing I'd say the short one. But to be sure, I'd say it's the one that just barely reaches when the none "T" end is just flush with the nut.
