increase hp on a budget

im looking to get the best bang for the buck what are the best mods for this truck and what are the costs for it part #s and where to look them up would br great too thank you

Get a Cloyes true double roller timing chain, get the factory TDC one, not the 8 deg retarded one. They're about $110 on summit, it'll make a noticable difference especially on the bottom end.

I was under the impression that the EFI motors had the straight up chain to start with.
