Are there any people here running "LATE" model wheels on their trucks? Late meaning '99 and newer. I know it can be done, just have a mchine shop drill out the lug holes and put in inserts. There is a wheel shop here that has it done for customers. Anyhow.....???????anyone???? Thanks

hey lance - check my gallery. I have a pic of newer (99-02) 5 spokes off an excursion on my crew. I had um for sale for a while. They just sold the other night, but they were here when you were last weekend, and if I had known you were looking I would have given um as partial trade.
The pic in the gallery isn't great, but I can email um to you so you can see it better.
*edit* I forgot to add - any GOOD wheel/tire store can do the wheels for you. There is a place by me that gets $40 a wheel, and then a good place off Cherry St. in Long Beach that gets $30 or so per wheel. I'm sure you could find a spot closer to you though.
I don't have late model wheels but I have wheels off a early 90's van that look good. They are aluminum and a direct bolt on, you can see them in my gallery. They looked even better before the rust and damage from a wreck but you can get a general idea of what they look like on a 79.
I didn't see your post before I just asked the same question. I thought about redrilling the rotors and axles, but redrilling the wheels is a lot easier. We'll get to the bottom of this!
