scanner code question

I have a '99 Expy EB with 105K. The dash light "Service Engine Soon" light came on, resulting in codes PO171 and 174, System too lean, Bank 1 & 2. Can anyone tell me what the fix is for this code? The light came on a day or so after i had the oil changed...any chance something got unplugged? The engine seems to be running fine, so far. Any ideas?

A number of posts on this pair of codes - they seem to say that something called a "PCV elbow" causes a vacuum leak, setting these codes. I'd check that first.

Try disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes to see if that clears the codes.

Check your oil cap. If they forgot to put it back on when you got your oil changed that will give you those codes too. Had this happen.
