Front Main Seal

Well, dang! Here's one that's gonna require some attention. Called my tech today. Told him I had a front main seal leak. He seemed clueless, except he said it'd need to be dye tested. I told him a blind man could see this leak and didn't need any dye. He said it would have to be anyway. He had no idea what the proceedure was to replace the seal either. Said engine likely had to be pulled. I can see removing the cooling module, but pull the engine???

Do any of you technically inclined folks know the proceedure and book time for this operation? Thanks!
