fuel leak

Ok,the problem I am having, when I start my truck up, fuel leaks big time from what I think is the fuel pump. It is an 82 250 with the 302, carb. The fuel looks like it is leaking from the bottom of the pump, but it is hard to tell as it is also dripping off of the oil filter. My question is - should I replace the pump or the lines or both? Thanks in advacne for any help.

Replace the pump and the short piece of rubber hose.

It may not be the pump. It sounds like the pump is making good pressure and you have a leak in the line. The gas is naturally going to find the bottom of the pump, because the leaky line is attached to it. You may just have a leak in the line to the carb.
