Strategy Codes

Do the codes change after flashing? I checked after I flashed with the "General Economy" and "Hybrid Race" and the codes changed. But after the "Aggresive Street" they were the same as the original?? Anybody know?

When you say codes, do you mean the vehicle strategy?

Yes, they change for "Gen Econ" and "Hybrid Race" but for "Agg Street" the codes stay the same? Does that seem right? I ask because I was able to change tunes with the new SCT even though I no longer have a stock tune in the vehicle or in the tuner. Does that seem right?

Nope, but it's hard for me to call because I'm at work. I did connect via email but he sounded "lost" if you know what I mean.

I do but I don't know if they are right? one doesn't have any info in it...when you sent yours did both of your files have data in them? Mine came from a defective tuner and they may not have been correct?

I had two files: flash.lbu and stock.lbu, both were 896KB in size. I sent both to SCT and they sent me one file back called factory.lbu, which was 897KB in size

That's what I was afraid of..I have the same two files but only one with data. Unless they can use just one it doesn't sound good...that defective unit really got me good! Did you have to load it as a custom tune or did it go into your stock tune slot?

it went in my stock tune slot. just had to click transfer file and select the factory.lbu SCT sent me. If you provide your VIN, ORIGINAL strat code, your SCT's serial number, vehicle make/year they should be able to send you a new stock file...........
