If you want the best info a Ford Service DVD will give you better info. I got mine for free when I bought a used truck for work. The wiring diagram part is screwed up and only works every once in a while, so when I look at something I try and save the info in my computer. The cheapest place I've found that advertises the new manuals is http://www.4door.com/manuals/ford/ford_dvd.html. I can't speak for their authenticity, but I have heard that some of the manuals purchased off ebay require you to change the date on your computer to the year of the truck for them to work.
The DVD will give you the same thing the Ford tech's use, including trouble codes and diagnoistic methods in addition to the standard remove and replace procedures.
If y'all will look at drawing #1, I need to know where the connector (S107) (left side of page in the middle of the lamps) It is the front parking lamp harness connector. I need to disconnect that and try to isolate my short. Those wires are so buried in there, I don't think I'll ever find it going in blind without tearing everything apart. Thanks
